Taylor Carlstrom

I'm a mental health provider in the Portland, OR area. My clinical approach is relationship-based creating a comfortable space while supporting you in finding yourself again or in a new way. My approach is a combination of trauma-informed, empowering, and client-centered. I believe each person knows themselves the best and what they need, it’s my role to help navigate those goals and barriers empathetically without judgment. To meet clients where they are at in the change or acceptance process I use an integrated approach with the following modalities: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Internal Family Systems, Solution Focused Therapy, Cognitive Processing Therapy, and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing. When I'm not working I enjoy hiking in the Pacific Northwest and playing soccer.
