Susan Theon

I am a licensed clinical social worker providing therapy to adolescents and adults. I received my academic training at Columbia University and Virginia Commonwealth University. I am an eating disorder specialist and Certified Intuitive Eating Counselor, and work with clients struggling with low self–esteem, body image issues, anxiety, and depression. In addition, I help clients with trauma, grief, loss, and life transitions. My holistic approach fosters growth, healing, and recovery. I believe therapy is a partnership of building trust and acceptance in a safe and nurturing environment. I use an Intuitive Eating and HAES (Health At Every Size) approach to working with eating disorders and disordered eating.
