Sammi Montag

Hi, my name is Sammi Montag. I am a San Diego Dietitian specializing in eating disorders, positive body image development, specialized diets, sports nutrition and health-focused behavior change with experience in other areas such as bowel diseases, diabetes, cardiovascular disease, addiction and PCOS. I earned my Bachelor of Science in dietetics from Point Loma Nazarene University and went on to complete a yearlong dietetic internship at UCSD Medical Center before taking the registration exam to become a dietitian. I am passionate about helping people find their fire towards personalized health goals and coming along side them to provide evidenced-based nutrition care. I take a health focused (rather than weight focused) approach with emphasis on normalized eating and behavior change. My nutrition philosophy incorporates an “all foods fit” mentality. I am originally from Gilbert, Arizona but love being in sunny San Diego. I love spending time outdoors, yoga, reading, and tap dancing.
