Hello! I'm Mimi Ellis, an Anti-Diet Registered Dietitian Nutritionist, Card-Carrying Foodie, Culinary Coach, and Certified Intuitive Eating Counselor. I'm based in Georgia, in the Northeast Atlanta area. I offer individual and group sessions, in-person or virtual using a HIPPA secure platform. I'm currently accepting AEtna and UnitedHealthcare commercial insurance plans, as well as self-pay clients. I'm super-passionate about Intuitive Eating, and would be honored to help you cultivate a healthy relationship with food and your body, so you can enjoy eating all foods (minus true allergies, of course!) AND enjoy better health, without shame or guilt laid on you by diet culture and militant healthism. Because I've personally lived and have witnessed in my clients the transformative power of intuitive eating, I approach nutrition from a place of self-care, NOT self-control. I understand the challenges and frustrations that come with yoyo dieting, weight struggles, and body image obsession, and I know the toll it can take on both physical and mental health. I help lots of folks just like you develop a healthy relationship with food and body, so they can enjoy the benefits of nutrition and health in a way that's balanced and sustainable. Instead of wasting more time, energy and money trying to "eat perfectly" or look a certain way, let's get on with living fully and doing the things that feed your soul.
