I've been a Registered Dietitian since 2008. I'm currently licensed in both Minnesota and Wisconsin. Early in my career I discovered Intuitive Eating (IE) and Health At Every Size (HAES) and have been practicing within this philosophy ever since. This means that I believe it's important to look at the whole person, mind and body, when discussing health and wellness. I also believe that all bodies come in different shapes and sizes and that all bodies are welcomed in this world! I have been specializing in eating disorders and disordered eating, working primarily with teens and adults, over the past couple of years. In addition, I have years of experience working with people living with diabetes, as well as heart disease, kidney disease, and people who are considering, or who have had, bariatric surgery. I’m passionate about nutrition and thrive on the relationships that I build with my clients. My goals are to help each client work towards achieving food freedom and body liberation, to free up more mental space and energy to be better spent on family, friends, and personal interests. On a personal note, I enjoy spending time outdoors, walking, hiking, biking, and paddle boarding. I also enjoy softball and bowling. I enjoy traveling and finding local restaurants and cuisines. And for downtime, I enjoy making puzzles, reading or podcasts, and playing cards, board or video games with my family and friends.
