Kelsey Domann-Scholz is a Licensed Professional Counselor specializing in individual therapy to manage anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, trauma, life and career transitions, and body image issues. Kelsey has a Masters in Professional Mental Health Counseling from the Lewis & Clark Graduate School of Education and Counseling in Portland, Oregon where she now holds a post as adjunct faculty in the Eating Disorder Certificate Program. As your counselor, Kelsey is here to support you in making meaning, creating comfort, and uncovering resources to help you overcome the obstacles preventing you from feeling well and whole. Taking an evidenced-based, client-centered, and existentially-informed approach, she aims to provide a safe and supportive space to collaborate and work at your own pace to help you reach your goals. Kelsey utilizes a blend of therapeutic approaches including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Dialectical-Behavioral Therapy along with process-oriented and creative approaches. Kelsey works with individuals experiencing the following challenges: Anxiety Body Image Concerns Eating Disorders Depression Trauma Sexual abuse Domestic violence Women’s issues LGBTQ+ issues Career counseling Life transitions Relationship issues Self-esteem Grief and loss Kelsey has experience in supporting people of all genders struggling with body image issues and has a particular passion for providing intuitive eating support to trans and non-binary clients. She understands that it is possible to heal our relationship with food and free up more mental space to focus on other priorities. Additionally, Kelsey has experience and training in supporting members of the LGBTQ+ community and aims to use a lens of social justice and intersectionality in her work.
