My hope is to support you on your journey of re-discovering the sacred connection between you and your body while healing your relationship with food. I believe each and everyone of us was born with the capability and wisdom to nourish and care for ourselves no matter how dormant it may feel. I understand this might be an exciting and scary leap, and fostering a safe space to explore the intricacies of your relationship with food and body is a priority for me. I aim to promote flexible, individualized eating based on hunger cues, nutritional needs, and pleasure rather than devise strict meal plans focused on weight control. My approach is non-restrictive and based on the 10 intuitive eating principles, Health At Every Size ©, flexible thinking, and incorporates a sense of humor. By combining eastern and western approaches, sustainable life changes can be made through evidence-based nutrition therapy, strengths-based interventions (in order to improve) improving interoceptive awareness (improving the mind-body connection), and realizing your innate worth. I believe that your body is the expert, and I’m just a tool here to help us listen a little more closely. I’m here to support you on your journey of befriending change and coming home to yourself, and ultimately, to grow inward.
