Jena Hart MS, RD, CDN has a BS in Nutrition from Syracuse University and an MS in Nutrition from James Madison University. As a registered dietitian/nutritionist for over 12 years, a Certified Intuitive Eating Counselor (since 2017) and a Health At Every Size® advocate, Jena emphasizes a weight inclusive, non-diet approach that helps people make peace with food and their bodies to help move towards sustainable eating and nurturing self-care behaviors. Jena is here to educate, guide and support you on your path towards Intuitive Eating to help you (re)learn to trust yourself and your body with food. Jena is passionate about helping clients with eating disorders and disordered eating as well as incorporating Medical Nutrition Therapy for all medical diagnoses (including, but not limited to: diabetes, PCOS, food allergies, celiac disease, IBS/GI disorders, kidney disease, prenatal/postpartum/breastfeeding, high cholesterol, heart disease) aligned with the Intuitive Eating approach. Jena has years of experience counseling adults, families, teens and children. Jena has a private practice and is licensed to practice in NY state. She has an office at 238 Bay Rd in Queensbury, NY but is also able to conduct telehealth (virtually or by the phone). She is contracted with many NY state insurance providers including: Aetna, CDPHP, Emblem Health, Fidelis Care, MVP (Cigna), and UnitedHealthcare (pending with BCBS of NE and Western NY).
