Hanna Kuyper, M.A. is an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT 109748) under the employment and supervision of DaLene Forester, PhD, LMFT, LPCC MFC 33095, LPC 629. ) Hanna see’s clients out of her private practice in Redding, CA. Hanna’s treatment focus is on trauma, eating disorders, body image, anxiety and overall emotional health. She graduated with her Masters in Counseling Psychology from National University and has extensive training in the treatment of Eating Disorders. Hanna is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and EMDR for Eating Disorders by Dr. DaLene Forester through Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing International Association (EMDRIA). ​Hanna previously served as a Board Member of Body Revolution, a non profit dedicated to raising funds and advocating for those with eating disorders. In 2015, Hanna opened iamwell, a community dedicated to helping women create a healthy relationship with food and their bodies Additionally, she created and ran women's groups that focused on body image, self compassion and intuitive eating. Hanna has also worked in school programs mentoring adolescent girls and teaching them about positive body image. Hanna run's virtual coaching groups to clients world wide through The Eating Disorder Center on the topics of Body Image, Self Compassion, Intuitive Eating and Eating Disorder Recovery.
