She currently serves as the President of the Connecticut Art Therapy Association. She has have the opportunity to work with many different populations includes families affected by HIV/AIDS, survivors of Domestic Violence, Intimate Partner Violence, Sexual Assault, as well as Complex Trauma. Emily has served in many positions through her career including clinical supervisor, program director and lead art therapist. Regardless of her position Emily works to bring a level of empathy and understanding to her clients where they can feel like they are being seen and heard, witness in their most vulnerable moments. M's current specialties include complex trauma and eating disorder treatment. M ran a nationally funded Eating Disorder Treatment Facility and has worked across all levels of care including RTC, PHP, IOP and OP. They currently treats clients, supervise therapist and provide clinical consultations through their private practice, Rainbow Recovery.
