Dana Holbrook

Dana is a licensed clinical social worker who first began working with individuals with eating disorders and disordered eating at the Begin Within Center in Red Bank, NJ in 2011. Dana received her Bachelors Degree in Sociology from Rutgers University in 2006 followed by her Masters Degree in Social Work from Monmouth University, with a concentration in clinical practice with children and families, in 2010. Dana has been working in healthcare for over 10 years in various settings including residential, outpatient, school and community programs. Dana specializes in working with adolescents and young adults; treating eating disorders, anxiety disorders, self injury, self esteem and body image issues. Her goal is to help her clients develop peaceful relationships with food and their bodies and to help them learn self compassion, body acceptance and to reconnect to their authentic selves. She is trained in multiple treatment modalities including cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectal behavioral therapy and mindfulness. Dana is a Certified Intuitive Eating Counselor and is dedicated to helping her clients achieve long term recovery. Dana is available to treat individuals in her Red Bank, NJ office or virtually. Outside of the office, Dana enjoys spending her time at the beach and with her husband, son and 2 dogs.
