Batya Weinstock Srolovitz

Batya is currently pursuing her Masters Degree in Social Work from the Columbia University School of Social Work. She spent the past year and a half working as a therapist intern at a residential treatment center for addiction and substance abuse. Batya also has many years of experience helping individuals heal from Eating Disorders and Body-Image Issues using the principles of Intuitive Eating. She is a Certified Intuitive Eating Counselor and incorporates many different modalities into her therapy sessions including Psychodynamic, Strength-Based, Cognitive-Behavioral, Logotherapy, Gestalt, and Spirituality Therapies. Batya has worked with individuals, couples and groups, and truly loves the work of being a therapist. She believes it to be profound, inspiring, and fulfilling to help clients gain access to their deeper selves, and to help them find the internal motivation to change and heal in order to pursue their unique goals.
