Alexandra Harvey

Alex Harvey is a Boston-based registered dietitian and certified Intuitive Eating Counselor. Guided by an anti-diet, HAES® paradigm, she is deeply passionate about empowering clients to reclaim their relationship with food and wellness. As a registered dietitian, she has worked at various levels of care, including inpatient, residential and outpatient settings. While covering the intensive care unit, she built a strong clinical understanding and applied medical nutrition therapy to a broad range of illnesses. More recently as a dietitian in residential and outpatient settings, she has helped clients meet their nutritional needs while exploring their connection to food, health and body image. In addition to intuitive eating, her private practice areas of expertise include disordered eating; orthorexia or overly rigid “healthy” eating; preoccupation with food, weight & body image; chronic dieting & weight cycling; on-diet nutritional planning and fueling for activity and exercise.
